Why reorganization needs the blessing of the top management
For any successful business turnaround, whether bankruptcy business reorganization or pre pack administration, a good amount of good will and support from the managers and owners is of paramount importance.
Particularly, it requires that the managers and owners of the business organization dedicate significant amount of time so that they can comply with the requisite conditions of business bankruptcy system. They also need time to acquaint with counsel as well as be able to negotiate with creditors. And, because of the expensive nature of the reorganization process, it is also important for the managers and owners to give this rescue process adequate time.
It is however important to note that reorganization has the potential of draining an organization of the time, which coincidentally, is what it lacks most. Thus, the business organization is deprived of the time and money it needs to urgently engage in the process of bankruptcy to extricate the business from the muddle in which it finds itself. Monetary expenses usually arise out of bankruptcy proceedings as well as the legal fees to be met.
There must be a plan of action if the business hopes to become successful in this endeavor. For, as they say, failing to plan is planning to fail.
